WARNING! (sub)FURRY ALERT! You don't have to be furry to enjoy my work, but if you REALLY have a problem with furries, get out while you still can.
Howdy! I happen to be a modest "artist" looking to make a comic of my own creation. I have never really considered myself artistic for years, or, at least, in the sense often portayed on this wonderous world wide website, due to an art contest fiasco in the third grade, which happened to involve an unjust teacher, the rapid scribbling of a marker, and a flying squirrel. And yet, I digress, drifting exponentially from the fact that I HAVEN'T DRAWN ANYTHING IN YEARS! until Spring break 2010, that is. I was sitting in my bedroom when suddenly... I realized I was REALLY fucking bored. After stumbling aimlessly through the interwebs for hours on end, I discovered a comic, which just so happened to be Tom Fischbach's Twokinds. I, not being one for art, surprizingly took an immediate liking to the artwork and, enthralled by the quite brilliant writing, desired to create something of similar design and feel, the same genre, if you will. There was only one problem. I had absolutely no talent. Fully realizing this, I bludgeoned my feeble whims into the back of my mind with the truncheon of reality. That is, until a particularily boring day the following week in math class, in which I happened to be so astonishingly bored that I actually attempted to... Wait for it... Draw. A little doodle of Flora, a character from Twokinds. It was then I realized two things. I realized the mathmatical theorem "Boredom = Productivity" (the only math I learned in that class), and I realized that I did NOT, in fact, suck at drawing. As of today, which be the 6th of February, 2011, I happen to have an archive of over 200 drawings and a written script for at least 100 pages of my own comic, which I hope to release by the end of this year. Thank you for reading my cripplingly long tale of woe and redemption, wish me luck, and have a nice day.
